Why it did not work

The gap I wanted to close in the market was solved by a different app

What happened

In July 2026 my app for tracking shows TVTime shut down, while exploring alternatives, I decided it may be better to build a replacement myself. While I was in the planning stages, the original created of the app launched his alternative Bingers that fit the exact functionality I was looking for.

Lessons learned

• If there's an opportunity go after it immediately.
• If you have authority in the space, and access to users who trust you, distribution is easy. Have your name work for you.
