TearNote.
A simple place to put your thoughts.
Why this project
TearNote is a simple note taking app. I generally don’t like note taking apps, but I thought about the physical world for inspiration, I like to have a legal pad or a blank piece of paper on my desk if I need to jot something down quickly. If that information is important I can move it somewhere else, or I can throw it away.
That’s the basic idea of the app. You have a single note space, if needed you can ‘rip it out’ and send it to a folder/tag. You keep you main note space clean for any random notes, and you can check the folders later and export those ‘scraps’ to another editor where you can expand on your ideas if needed.
Where it stands
TearNote is in development. Currently developing for the desktop world (MacOS, Windows, Linux) with plans to add mobile builds as well.
